Davert is one of the original organic pioneers. As early as 1973, the company´s founder, Rainer Welke, openend one of the first organic shops in Germany. When he took over an old mill site in 1984, this was the moment Davert was born.
The move in 2013 made Davert fit to meet the requirements of the modern organic market under the new management of Friedrich Niehoff and Erk Schuchhardt. In addition to the organisational and operational advantages, the new site also provides ecological benefits: short transport routes, efficient, modern production and lower energy consumption take our sustainability requirements into consideration.
